In town there are three guesthouses that offer comfortable accommodation, clean rooms and a good breakfast. Mirario is one of these places, probably the best one indeed, due to its location and busy lounge right in front of the Papagaio River. With a very typical and comfortable balcony where the social evening beer is a must for the local expatriates, when you are a guest you can also enjoy the tasty breakfast with a river-view. It does have free Internet access for all and its own generator, which renders it immune to electricity failures.
MIRARIO GUESTHOUSE
Located on one of the main roads, that joins the Santo Antonio bay to Sao Joaquim, and where you can also find the main marketplace, the Palhota is built right by one the biggest church of the capital. With several rooms it is also an enjoyable guesthouse, a bit older than the Mirario. It has a dodgy wi-fi connection but it is free and as good as any you will find in Principe.

PALHOTA GUESTHOUSE
This hostel is very well located within the city, right by the main square. It may be the less comfortable of the hostels in town, but it is a cheap offer if you are on a budget, and it includes breakfast. It does not have internet but you can get access in the main square just outside the hostel – where there is free wi-fi.

ARCA DE NOÉ HOSTEL
In the city of Santo Antonio there are three guesthouses with affordable prices and that will offer its guests clean and comfortable accommodation. INTERNET: free wireless in the vicinity of the Regional Government Buildings in the main square.
ROÇA BELOMONTE
This old Roça is in the final stages of rehabilitation. It aims to be a proper hotel to rival the iconic Bom Bom Island Resort in the quality of its offer, although they will have a tough task in doing so. It is located right by the Banana beach, which you can reach in a ten minute walk, passing right by the Belo Monte Viewpoint on the way. ROÇA ABADE GUESTHOUSE
This very nice and friendly guesthouse is located near the Abade beach. Even if you choose not to stay here, it is certainly worth a visit. It is owned by a local guy who started to transform an old Roça into a lovely place to accommodate tourists. It offers its guest a wonderful view over the Jockey’s Cap Islet, the picturesque little sister island of Principe.
ROÇA PONTA DO SOL GUESTHOUSE
Known as Joao’s house – Casa do João – this small guesthouse offers a very suitable price and perhaps the most stunning view and soothing accommodation. It is an old Roça transformed into a guesthouse, and you can still see some of the other buildings that belonged to the Roça in the old days.

BOMBOM ISLAND RESORT
Located in between two of the best beaches of the Island, it is its oldest and most iconic hotel.
