FEEDING: It feeds mostly on insects.

REPRODUCTION: It is a parasite that lays its eggs in other birds nests, like most cuckoos. When the chick hatches it pushes the other chicks from the nest guaranteeing full attention from its adopted parents.

CONSERVATION STATUS: LC. It is not threatened at all.

DISTRIBUTION/OBSERVATION SPOTS: It occurs all over the Island, from the shores to the highest peaks. Due to its very small size and to its cryptic appearance, it is a very hard bird to make out in the forest. It is a treasured sight.
